UPDATE: Buggy is now adopted. TY!
Well baby "Buggy" is all finished. I have worked over time to get her finished and am so thrilled with how she turned out.I love her hair and little lips the most. I wanted to give her a nice head of hair, and Slumberland Nursery makes some of the best mo-hair on the market. It's so soft and easy to manage. Curls right up into nice curls.
She is my only Buggy Kit and will be my only Buggy I will ever create,
making her a true One Of A Kind!
Please enjoy some of her finished photos:
-----------------------------
Buggy is a sold out kit sculpted by Bonnie Brown. I had two kits, but decided to trade one for a Paris Adrie Stoete kit. I desperately want to work on her this month.
Kits on eBay are now selling for over $200+ on the 2nd market at auction and I have a hunch people are now just buying up hot kits just to re-sell with out any intent of actually working on them. That's fine, I have sold some kits for more than they were worth or purchased them for, but I am not all about just buying kits just to make a buck. My intent was to work on them, but sometimes bills-life ect come into play or simply not enough time It's kinda sad for those who actually want to work on these kit but were too late on pre-ordering them. I was happy to trade with a fellow friend!
Any-who, here is my baby Buggy in process. I have been working over time on her since the moment she arrived. Her little lips are my favorite part! She will be my only Buggy, as mentioned above they are a sold out limited edition of 500 and now way too much to buy off the 2nd market.

Buggy has delicate little hands and feet. Some were not so fond of her feet, but I have a newborn here at home who stretched his little feet out exactly like Buggy's. So in my opinion Bonnie sculpted some realistic little tootsies!

I've been trying to master my mottling effect and with Buggy, since she is so newborn looking I really wanted her skin tone to show that as much as possible. I held her legs up next to my 3 month old nephew and I'm very excited how life like I was able to get buggy's skin tone. She is not quite finished yet. She still needs work on her feet, hands and face.
Buggy will make about a 19" baby (depending on what body you use) I am also painting a tush plate & a chest/tummy plate for her. Will make for some beautiful photography shots. She will be rooted with Slumberland Nursery premium angora mo-hair in the shade of baby brown and then she will be off to eBay sometime this week. More photos to come soon....
How do you like her so far?
