Please Welcome baby Arianna. She is a 28" toddler with beautiful german glass  brown eyes and lovely blond premium angora mohair. She has been a baby that hasbeen in the works for over two months and I am more than thrilled with her results. I wanted to create a sweet girly-girl. She looks simply adorable in pink.

 

We are in the process of moving so I was limited with Arianna's photos. I hope they looked o.k. She is so sweet in person and I hope that came across in the photos :)

Gracie~Now With Micro-Rooted Slumberland Hair!

Hi Friends, I hope all are doing well! This past week has been  very busy getting ready for my etsy shop to open, finishing up Arianna and re-vamping my fairy kit. I decided to micro-root "Finja's" now Gracies hair with baby brown angora mo-hair by Slumberland Nursery. I'm more than thrilled with her result.

Anyways, are we ready for Halloween yet? Were so excited, Halloween is my very favorite Holiday! I'm thinking  maybe I'll dress up as the Cheshire Cat this year. It would be fun to create that look. On a dolly note: Arianna is still being worked on & I decided to root Finja's hair since she did not find a home the past week. It looks really amazing. Photos soon... 

(((Stone In Focus))) Arianna kit Reva Schick WIP

My toddler Arianna is almost done. She will be the third one iv created this year and probably my very last ever. I'v given her blonde hair and dark  brown german glass eyes. I'm waiting for her hair to dry so I can actually style it and show you some sneak peek photos. Hopefully in the next few days I'll be able to put her together for you to see.

On a side note, work for my new etsy store has begun. I hope to feature a few new dolls and other pieces of art work. That will open up early November. If all goes well it's where I'll be headed full time.

I'v been on a "Aphex Twin" kick lately. One of my favorite songs is "Stone In Focus".   They have some amazing creative songs all around, some beautiful and melodic others kinda creepy yet awesome!

UPDATE:10/16

Arianna is coming along nicely. Work on her face is basically finished and now onto her arms and legs. She will be finished sometime next week if all goes well. She has really pretty German glass eyes.  This was just a quick photo with out her hair being styled. More to come....

"Ryan" Natalie Scholl, "Serene" Tamie Yarie & "Buggy" Bonnie Brown Kits...

I feel like I haven't worked on a new release kit for a while. Iv been working on kits from last year, fantasy and commissioned orders. So I'm very excited to get my hands on these up & coming new releases. These are the last few babies I'll be working on till the end of the year other than my Victorian Gothic babies that will launch on etsy soon. Each kit is already sold out and I was fortunate to be able to pre-order one of each.  

I generally never pre-order kits, and that's because when they're released and you are unable to pay for the kits right away, lots of companies will cancel your order and keep the pre-order deposit or if the kits all sell out before you pay for yours, you then lose your deposit which is generally between $20-$40 a pre-order kit. I learned that the hard way when I had about 5 kits all come out at the same time and couldn't afford to pay off the rest of the balance for them all and lost out on a couple. Most kits sell between $79-$110 for preemie & baby sizes. Toddlers generally start out at $130 and up.

Now with these specific kits from these specific artists, we all knew they were going to sell out, so that's my exception on pre-ordering . If you don't pre-order a kit you think will sell out quickly then you are pretty much out of luck and will have to find them on a 2nd market like eBay. Probably selling for 2-3 times as much. Remember "Jayden" Scholl? Blank kits still selling for  between $400-$700... Crazyness!

Natalie's limited edition kit "Ryan" & Tamies limited edition kit "Serene" sold out in a matter of 24 hours! None of the kits have been released yet, but anytime we should be getting invoices so they can start shipping! I can't wait.These photos are from the sculptors them selves or from the artist who created the prototype.

He is a preemie baby (my favorite to work on) He has the sweetest little hands & feet.

Tamie Yaries "Serene".
She is a larger sized baby. I think around 21"? Tamie usually creates 
preemie size's  17-19" and we were all excited for a larger sized baby.

 Bonnie Brown Collection "Buggy"
who is now also Sold Out. This kit reminds me of Brad Pitt &  Angelina Jolie's daughter "Shiloh"She has the same  little lips.. I  believe she is a preemie size, perhaps 16-17" correct me if I'm wrong.

Finja kit ~ Nel de Man ~ Finished & now up for adoption!

Finja is a long ago sold out kit, so long ago I didn't remember the name of her kit until some fantastic friends helped track it down for me.  Opps! Sorry Finja! ;)

I'v had this kit tucked away for a while and decided to start working on her a few weeks ago here and there.  Finja has the sweetest little face. Since all my projects are done for the week I wanted to finally finish her! I love her size, at about 18". Though I won't know for sure until she is all put together, she could be an inch longer. Finja is about 85% finished  in the photo above. I'll be working on painting her hair tonight and all day tomorrow.  She has such a newborn face, it will suit her well. 

 

UPDATE: 10/4

Finja  is now 100% finished and she has been listed on eBay for adoption. She really is a beautiful baby. When I take photos of each baby, I always go overboard and take at least 200 shots and choose the best ones. With Finja, I had the hardest time choosing which to use in her auction! She is just  so photogenic & they all turned out so pretty.  Finja is all ready for Halloween in her adorable mouse costume.
